The “Warrior” Baritone Ukulele is ready to perform!
This Custom Instrument has a 20” scale length with 19 frets tuned to DGBE. It has a K&K Aloha Twin double sensor pickup. A 15’ arch on the back, quarter sawn split braces, and solid linings increase volume and sustain.
The entire build is top quality with sensitivity to playability and clear sound.
Top is Full Figured fine grain Bear Claw Sitka Spruce - Sitka sounds great for heavy strumming, light fingerpicking and everything in between.
The Solid Figured Koa back and sides give the instrument the Hawaiian look and sound and it looks stunning.
The neck is a 3 piece Mahogany/Maple/Mahogany for strength and long term stability.
It has an Ebony fretboard and Bridge. The Bridge is “string through body” to ensure the maximum vibration from the strings transfers from bridge to the entire top.
Additional items include Warhead Club shaped sound hole for the player hearing the sound and a Warhead Club inlay at the butt plate, The peghead has an inlay of a Hawaiian Spearman. The rosette is black/white MOP/Herringbone/white MOP/Black and body bindings are Mahogany with white MOP and black purfling. Fretboard markers are white MOP shaped as “W” for warrior.
It has Waverly chrome tuners with Ivoroid buttons and is finished in high gloss nitrocellulose lacquer. Hard Case included.

Meet the “Ekolu Lua Peles” (Three Volcanoes). These three matching instruments are beautifully crafted using the finest woods and components available. These instruments were just awarded the 1st place BLUE RIBBON at the Orange County Fair Visual Arts Woodworking Competition.
There is a Concert size with 15” scale length, a Tenor with a 17” scale length and a Baritone with a 20” Scale length and all have 19 frets
Top, Back, and Sides are well aged, figured Koa. Bracing is quarter sawn spruce for maximum flex to strength ratio. Fretboards and Bridges are Ebony, and Necks are of a multilaminate of Koa, Maple, Mahogany, Maple and Koa for stability and strength. The necks are fixed and bolt on for long term stability and viability of the instruments. The bridges are a "string through body design" to maximize vibration of the tops and they are a mountain shape to keep to the theme of the instruments. The nut and saddle are polished bone.
The peghead shape allows for non-binding string setup for the smooth Waverly Tuners. It is inlayed with an erupting volcano (Lua Pele) combined with a dark sky and wooded mountain. It contains a player's sound hole on the side to enhance sound to the player.
There is a beautiful rosette of Abalone surrounded by BW Purfling. Top Binding also has a beautiful inlay of Abalone with black purfling and a Koa edge. Back binding is black purfling with a Koa edge.
These instruments are equipped with K&K Aloha Twin pickups so they sound great unplugged and plugged.
These hand crafted instruments were built with each step designed and implemented to maximize the beauty of the sound, sight, feel and playability of the instruments.

This is an All Koa Baritone Ukulele. This Uke was build with a 20" Scale Length and 20 Frets with an overall length of 30.5" The top, body and sides are solid Figured Koa. It has a quarter sawn one piece Flame Mahogany Neck with an Ebony Fretboard. It has an Ebony string-through-body bridge and Schaller Grand Tuners with Ebony Knobs. It has beautiful Bloodwood binding surrounded by Black/White Purfling which accents to figured koa body. The peghead is inlaid with a Petroglyph interpreted as a Hawaiian Spear Dancer. The sound hole rosette is Pink Mother of Pearl with red purfling and it has fretboard top and side markers. It is build with a side port to enhance the sound to the player. It is finished in High-Gloss Nitrocellulose lacquer and is equipped with a K&L Aloha Twin Pickup. The sound is very natural with good volume and clear notes.

This beautiful sounding and looking Tenor Ukulele features a "Lucky Strike" Sinker Redwood fine grain soundboard which is known to be incredibly resonant with awesome harmonic development, projection and sustain. It has a carved spruce radial bracing pattern. The Highly Figured Malaysian Blackwood SIdes and Body adds depth and brightness to the sound quality. The Peghead is inlayed with a Redwood Tree outline to honor the instrument's roots. For ease of playability, it has a satin Carribbean Rosewood Fretboard with green line maple fretmarkers and set up with medium frets and a low action. It has easy to adjust Waverly 15:1 Tuners with Koa knobs. The neck is figured Spanish Cedar and the body has Bloodwood binding. We used a bone nut and saddle custom cut for this instrument. It is equipped with a K&K Aloha Twin pickup and finished in High Gloss Nitrocellulose Lacquer. An Oahu hardcase and a small display stand are included.

This hand made Tenor Ukulele features a fine grain soundboard of Port Orford Cedar creating excellent resonance and volume. It has a carved spruce radial bracing pattern. Beautiful figured Ziricote was used for the Sides and Body. It has a 3-layer Neck and Peghead of Maple/Mahogany/Maple for long term stability. It is built with a sound port for the player on the side of the instrument. For ease of playability, it has a satin Ebony fretboard with Mother of Pearl fret markers and set up with medium frets and a low action. It has easy to adjust Waverly 15:1 Tuners with Ebony knobs. The body has Maple binding with black accent purfling. We used a bone nut and saddle custom cut for this instrument. It is finished in High Gloss Nitrocellulose Lacquer. The Mauna aa Tenor Ukulele . Created and built during and before the lockdown, this fantastic ukulele is a one of a kind in many special ways.
The Wood – The back and sides of this wonderful instrument are made from all solid highly figured Mahogany from the most famous wood in the word – The Tree. Obtained at a money raising auction for the Association of Stringed Instrument Makers (A.S.I.A.) with proper certification from the source. This wood has amazing figure and has the density and properties of rosewood in its’ tone as well. The top is fine grain, old growth Port Orford Cedar. It has a Spanish Cedar Neck, Koa Bindings, and an Ebony Fretboard and bridge.
The Look – It looks amazing, as you can see. The Volcano Inlays on the Peghead and Fretboard were designed to give an amazing uniqueness to this instrument. These inlays were done by the Master, Mr. Harvey Leach who does awesome art for many top makers and some of the most expensive instruments in the world. The Rosette is figured Redwood with Pau Abalone surrounding the redwood. The top Koa binding is also surrounded by Pau Abalone.
Quality Components and Build – This is a 17 1/32 Scale Tenor ukulele. It has hand split, carved bracing, bone nut and saddle, Gotoh Planetary Tuners (what a pleasure), fret markers, side markers, and is finished in high gloss Nitrocellulose Lacquer. It has hand split spruce bracing, Rosewood fretboard, a Spanish Cedar Neck an Rosewood bridge. Top binding is Rosewood W/B purfling and Abalone inlay, bottom binding is B/W/Rosewood. Headblock and Tailblock are from Spanish Cedar.
The Look – The Port Orford Cedar top has its own unique beauty. The figured redwood with Abalone inlay rosette goes perfectly with the coloring in the top and the rosewood/abalone binding. The saddle and nut are bone. The Koa is figured comes out great looking and feels wonderful in the hands.
